Kitka. Vegetarian Recipies for the Domestically Challenged
Posted October. 12, 2007

Thanksgiving on a Bun
you will need:

  • coupla slices yummy bread (Kitka uses Pepperidge Farm Whole Wheat Carbstyle, in an effort to counterbalance the use of mayo, ha ha)
  • coupla slices Turtle Island Food's Oven Roasted Tofurky
  • coupla lettuce leaves
  • handful dried cranberries
  • squirt mayo

Lightly toast your bread.

Spread / Squirt mayo on one slice of bread only.

Push cranberries INTO the mayo, the mayo will hold those suckers in when you are eating later.

Layer the Tofurky, lettuce & 2nd slice of bread, and smoosh it all down a little.

mmmmm... tastes like home cookin'...

I Call This One : Breakfast
you will need:
  • coupla slices yummy bread (Kitka uses Pepperidge Farm Whole Wheat Carbstyle)
  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Honey (locally produced is good for you!! Just say NO to allergies, and YES to supporting local farmers!)
  • Cinnamon, or even better, something McCormick calls "Pumkin Pie Spice".
Toast that bread!

Spread that Peanut Butter while bread is still hot! It makes the peanut butter melty, and that can only be a good thing.

Drizzle a spoonful of Honey over the Peanut Butter, be artistic, it's fun.

Sprinkle the Cinnamon.

Now, let your instincts take over from here. Chomp-chomp.
